Architected, designed, and built a company news portal. Updated the existing site, developed a more engaging homepage, and implemented an updated theme layer.

Solution

Working with Ketchum was a highlight of my career, as I had admired their work for years.

I joined the FedEx Newsroom project through a former colleague from NorthPoint who had already signed on. Using the provided wireframes, we quickly outlined the architecture and identified pain points in under 20 minutes, setting a clear direction for development.

The two of us completed the Newsroom site in just seven weeks, with my contributions including

• site installation and configuration
• internationalization to support multiple languages
• development of custom JavaScript to enhance functionality
• creation of custom modules tailored to client needs
• design and implementation of a custom theme layer
• data migration from legacy systems
• and rigorous quality assurance to ensure a polished final product
